Can you tell us a little about yourself?
Hi! My name is Alannah Fluharty, and I’m 11 years old from Seattle, Washington. I’m Hispanic and Caucasian, and I love modeling, acting, competitive gymnastics, and spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy traveling and trying new experiences.
How did you get started in modeling?
I started modeling because I loved being creative and expressing myself. My mom encouraged me to try it, and after my first runway show and photoshoot, I knew it was something I wanted to keep doing. Every opportunity has helped me learn and grow.
What do you enjoy most about being in front of the camera?
I love being able to tell a story through photos. Every photoshoot is different, and it’s so much fun getting to work with talented photographers, designers, and creative teams. I also love seeing the final photos come to life.
We heard you’re also involved in gymnastics! What is your absolute favorite thing about modeling or gymnastics?
I love that both modeling and gymnastics help me become more confident. Gymnastics teaches me discipline, strength, and determination, while modeling lets me be creative and express myself. Both have taught me to never give up and always keep learning.
What are some of your favorite hobbies outside of modeling?
I love gymnastics, drawing, playing basketball, traveling, hanging out with my friends, and spending time with my family. I also enjoy being outdoors and trying new activities.
What is something most people don’t know about you? Do you have any hidden talents?
One thing most people don’t know about me is that I love adventure just as much as fashion! If there’s a zipline, a rock wall, or a giant roller coaster, you’ll probably find me first in line. My hidden talent is being fearless and always ready for the next challenge!
What has been your favorite project or accomplishment so far in the industry?
One of my favorite accomplishments has been walking in fashion shows and meeting so many amazing designers and photographers. Every runway show has helped me become more confident, and I’m proud of how much I’ve grown since I first started modeling.
What do you enjoy most about being a Dixie Magazine Ambassador?
I love being part of such a supportive community that celebrates creativity, kindness, and confidence. It’s an honor to represent Dixie Magazine and connect with other talented young models and creators.

If you could work with any brand, who would it be?
I would love to work with Disney because I love storytelling and making people smile. I would also love to work with Rare Beauty because I admire its message about self-confidence and being yourself.
Who is your favorite model, actor, athlete, or celebrity that inspires you?
My favorite athlete is Simone Biles. She inspires me because she is incredibly hardworking, brave, and always believes in herself. She reminds me that it’s okay to be different and that hard work pays off.
What are your goals for the future?
I hope to continue modeling, acting, and competing in gymnastics. I would love to work on commercials, walk in more fashion shows, and eventually appear in movies or TV shows. Most of all, I want to inspire other kids to believe in themselves and follow their dreams.
Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
Always believe in yourself, be kind to others, and don’t be afraid to dream big. Every opportunity is a chance to learn something new. Work hard, stay humble, and never let anyone tell you that you can’t achieve your goals!
