MEET "Thunder Force" star Bria Danielle Singleton

Bria is a rising star who can be seen inNetflix’s superhero comedy film “Thunder Force” with Octavia Spencer and Melissa McCarthy playing the younger teen version of Octavia’scharacter‘Emily.’ In a world where supervillains are commonplace, two estranged childhood best friends reunite after one devises a treatment that gives them powers to protect their city.

Bria is a natural performer who has been gracing television screens since eight months old. Bria kickstarted her career in national commercials for brands such as McDonald’s, Tide, Walgreens, Lowes, Disney, and more. She went on to lend her voice to Universal Pictures’ “All I Want for Christmas Is You” with Mariah Carey, Cartoon Network’s “Clarence,” and Nickelodeon’s “The Loud House.” In television, Bria booked her first pilot at four years old, and went on to appear in ABC’s “Fresh Off The Boat,” and FX’s “Better Things.” She showed off her talent for drama as a lead role in the short film “This Little Light” portraying a young girl with a mental health disorder.

Bria’s passion for acting stems from her love of taking on characters that are different from her everyday life, allowing her to explore someone else’s thoughts and emotions. She hopes to take on more dramatic projects and one day work with Viola Davis. Additionally, she plans to attend college with a goal of studying either Marine Biology or Psychology. Bria is a vegetarian; what started as a bet turned into a lifestyle, where she was able to share her love for animals and the environment at a vegetarian festival put on by Animal Hero Kids non-profit. Family is important to Bria, who is one of five children and is always surrounded a host of extended family. She lives in her hometown of Long Beach, CA with her parents, twin sister, younger sister, and two cats, Hades and Persephone.
